Getting Started with Android (Micro USB)

This guide applies to using Ultimate Backup SSD with Micro USB model Android devices:

Before getting started, make sure Android is up to date on your phone or tablet, and if you haven't already, download the Ultimate Backup app from the App Store and open it. Next, follow along with this tutorial video, or continue with the instructions below for help setting up the app:

1. Tap Create Account if this is your first time using Ultimate Backup, otherwise tap Sign In:
   
   
   
2. Fill out the Create Account or Sign In screen, and then tap Create Account or Sign In:
   
   
   
3. When prompted to choose a product, select Ultimate Backup SSD, and then Confirm Selection at the bottom:
   
   
   
4. Tap Start Backup once you're on the Home screen:
   
   
   
5. Make sure to grant access to anything if / when prompted, so Ultimate Backup can access and back up your files.
   
   
6. Tap Understood on the backup instructions prompt:
   
    
7. Sit back and wait for us to prepare your files for backup:
   
   
   
8. Now it's time to complete the backup process on your computer:
