This guide will show you how to download and open the Ultimate Backup app on your Windows computer. There are a couple options for using the app, so we'll go over each below. If you're using an older version of Windows, you may need Option 2. For the vast majority of users, however, Option 1 is likely all you'll need.
OPTION 1: INSTALLING FROM THE MICROSOFT APP STORE
This version of the Ultimate Backup app works with Windows 10 or higher. Just follow the steps below to get started:
- Click this link to open the Microsoft App Store to the Ultimate Backup app page.
- Click Get:
- Wait for the app to install:
- Click Open:
- If prompted, click Pin to Start to make the app easy to find from your Start Menu on next use:
- Now that you're in the app, click the image below that corresponds with the Ultimate Backup drive you're using for help with setup:
OPTION 2: USING THE APP INSTALLED ON THE ULTIMATE BACKUP
This version of the Ultimate Backup app works with Windows 7 or higher. First, connect your Ultimate Backup to your PC. Then follow the steps below to get started:
- Click the File Explorer icon in your taskbar to open a File Explorer window.
- Click UBDRIVE on the left:
- Double-click LaunchUltimateBackup to open the app:
- Now that you're in the app, click the image below that corresponds with the Ultimate Backup drive you're using for help with setup:
