This guide will show you how to reformat your Ultimate Backup using a Lightning model iPhone or iPad. A reformat will completely erase your Ultimate Backup, along with the backup records in the app, and can be used to correct software issues that a normal reset was unable to resolve. Follow the steps below for help reformatting your Ultimate Backup:
- Tap Settings
at the bottom right:
- Tap Advanced Options at the bottom:
- Tap Reset Drive toward the bottom:
- Tap Factory Reset:
- Tap Continue on the prompt:
- When asked to enter your name, instead type format2, and then tap Continue:
- Tap Continue once more to proceed with the reformat:
