The Photo Scanner uses the camera on your iPhone or iPad to scan physical photos onto your phone, minimizing glare to improve the quality beyond what the camera can do normally. Follow the steps below for help:
- Tap Camera
at the bottom:
- From the Camera Options screen, tap Get Started under Photo Scanner:
- If prompted, be sure to Allow access to the camera:
- Adjust your phone from above so that the blue boxes fully encompass each photo (up to 10 at a time) being scanned. For best results, be sure to hold your phone as flat and still as possible, scan fewer photos at once, and avoid glare from lights (glossy photos may be more prone to glare). When you're ready, tap and hold the white shutter button at the bottom to start scanning. Don't worry if the blue boxes don't line up exactly, as you can correct that in the next step:
- Drag any misaligned corners to line up the edges with the actual edges of the photos. Tap Continue when you're done:
- Tap the Tools
button at the top right if you'd like to further edit your photos, or tap Save at the bottom to save them to your Ultimate Backup:
