Follow the steps below for help setting up the Ultimate Backup app on your Android device:
- Tap Create Account if this is your first time using Ultimate Backup, otherwise tap Sign In:
- Fill out the Create Account or Sign In screen, and then tap Create Account or Sign In:
- Tap Ultimate Backup SSD to select it as your product:
- Tap Confirm Selection at the bottom:
- Tap Start Backup on the Home
screen (no need to connect your Ultimate Backup):
- When prompted, tap Allow or Allow All to give Ultimate Backup access to your files — you can choose which specific file types to back up later in the app settings:
- Sit back and wait for us to prepare your files for backup:
- Once the mobile portion of the backup is complete, the app will instruct you to proceed to next steps on a computer. Tap Proceed and then Go Home:
- Connect your Ultimate Backup to your computer and install the app. Be sure to sign in using the same account you used on your phone or tablet during setup. For additional help with app installation and setup on your computer, please see these resources:

- Once you're in the app on your computer, tap the Start Mobile Backup button at the top right:
- Your files will begin copying over to your Ultimate Backup at this point:
- Just wait for your backup to finish, and you're all set!
