This guide will show you how to reset your Ultimate Backup. A reset will erase files from your Ultimate Backup, so be sure you have another copy safely stored in another location before proceeding. When you're ready, connect your Ultimate Backup, open the app, and follow the steps below:
- Click the gear icon
in the top right corner:
- Click Reset Ultimate Backup in the drop-down menu:
- Type your name into the box:
- If this is the only Ultimate Backup you've backed up files to, continue to step 5. Otherwise, if you've previously backed up files to any other Ultimate Backup drives, and this drive was used to continue the backup, check the box:
- Click OK to proceed with the reset:
