This guide will show you how to use our Repair Tool to update and repair your Ultimate Backup software. First, connect your Ultimate Backup to your PC, but do not open the app. Instead, follow the steps below:
- Click this link to download the Repair Tool.
- Find the "RepairTool" file in your Downloads folder, and double click to open the Repair Tool:
- Click Find Drive:
- Click Start Repair:
- The Repair Tool will let you know when the repair process is complete. Be sure to open the 'LaunchUltimateBackup' app on the drive to use your Ultimate Backup moving forward. Following the steps outlined in this guide will not erase any of the files stored on your Ultimate Backup, but this is also not a guarantee to regain access to files that may have been inaccessible prior to running the Repair Tool.
